| WHAT IS LENTEK? |
| Lenticular images combine digitally interlaced printed or photographic image with rows of optical grade lenses. These interlaced images, printed directly to the back of the lens, focus light on different strips of the surface and magnifies whatever image is there. Viewing the image from different angles Ð by moving Ð creates the desired illusion.ÊÊÊÊÊ
Lenticular graphics can be described as specialized images which when viewed under certain circumstances will produce 3-D or animated sequences. The technology of this product consists of two main elements-a specially prepared (interlaced) image that contains data from two or more graphics which is placed in precise alignment with a lenticular lens. The lenticular lens isolates, magnifies, and displays the image data from each individual graphic according to the angle of observation. ÊÊÊ
Objects within an image are layered to give the illusion of depth and perspective. Unlike 2-dimensional design, using this lenticular effect allows graphics to appear more realistic. LenTek 4D can be incorporated into most images or design styles. ÊÊÊ
TIP: Color choice and placement play key roles in the optimum 3D effect. Neutral colors in the background and brighter colors in the foreground work best. Choose pictures with obvious foreground, middle-ground, and background will enhance the 3D effects.

| FAQ and FILE REQUIREMENTS |
Be sure to read our FAQ and FILE REQUIREMENTS to avoid common production problems. Remember that you are responsible for supplying correct printing files. No one can print a great job using bad files. Use print industry standard software programs such as Photoshop, In Design, Illustrator, and Quark Express- if possible. We do our best to help whenever possible to correct files but we can't help you make last minute changes if you use an obscure or free online design program. Make sure all your files are 300 dpi and cymk.
The printing process uses CYMK (cyan, magenta, yellow and black) to make all the possible colors that can be printed. RGB files must be converted to cymk and this conversion can change color. It's best to start out using CYMK so you can actually see the color you are using. If you are not sure about what you are doing, give us a call.
