*FREE UV Coating or Aqueous Coating On Every Job*

| OVERALL GLOSS UV COATING |
| is standard on all our 14 and 16 point card stock. UV coating is a clear liquid spread over the paper like ink and then cured
instantly with ultraviolet light. UV coating gives more protection and sheen than either aqueous coating or varnish. Since it
is cured with light and not heat, no solvents enter the atmosphere so it is environmentally friendly.

| MATTE / DULL COATING |
| is available on all jobs printed on 14 or 16 Pt card stock. Matte coating creates a flat smooth look that reflects less light
than glossy coatings. It removes the glare and is very effective over type. Use matte coating for a more subtle,quite effect. |
| AQUEOUS COATING |
| is more environmentally friendly than varnish or UV coating because it's water based. It is applied to the sheet by an
additional coating tower on the press. It seals the ink which dries almost instantly and creates an additional gloss that
protects the sheet. It has better "hold-out" than varnish because it doesn't seep into the paper and it doesn't crack or
scuff easily. Aqueous coating does, however, cost more than varnish but we think it is worth giving you the highest quality
product as our standard. |
| SPOT UV COATING |
| is a great option for giving your printed piece the WOW FACTOR! Spot UV highlights and draws attention to a selected area by
creating a visual stimulus to draw the eye. It enhances the value and give the impression of importance and quality to the
finished piece. Spot UV is the option of having selected areas of your job high gloss UV coated and other areas of your job without UV coating. To set up files for spot UV , an additional file must be created for every spot UV side. This file must be black and white with the area to be UV- SOLID black 100% (no gradients) and the rest that will not be UVed must be white. An example of this can be found in file requirements . |
