100LB GLOSS BOOK weight stock is the standard for Flyers, Sell Sheets, Brochures, Catalogs, Booklets, Posters, CD Covers and Inlays, DVD Covers and Inserts.
100LB GLOSS COVER stock is a high-quality, thick paper stock that is excellent for those who want a thicker book weight.
HEAVY 14 POINT card stock is the most commonly used for Business Cards, Postcards, Web Postcards, Rack Cards, Club cards, Greeting Cards, Rolladex Cards, Bookmarks, and Doorhangers.
EXTRA HEAVY 16 POINT card stock is available as a FREE UPGRADE just for the asking. Most online printing companies do not offer this extra value service. (16 point is not available for Greeting Cards)
FINISHES
AQUEOUS COATING is more environmentally friendly than varnish or UV coating because it's water based. It is applied to the sheet by an additional coating tower on the press. It seals the ink which dries almost instantly and creates an additional gloss that
protects the sheet. It has better "hold-out" than varnish because it doesn't seep into the paper and it doesn't crack or scuff easily. Aqueous coating does, however, cost more than varnish but we think it is worth giving you the highest quality product as our standard. (FREE Aqueous on 1,000 or more)
OVERALL GLOSS UV COATING is standard on all our 14 and 16 point card stock. UV coating is a clear liquid spread over the paper like ink and then cured instantly with ultraviolet light. UV coating gives more protection and sheen than either aqueous coating or varnish. Since it is cured with light and not heat, no solvents enter the atmosphere so it is environmentally friendly. (FREE UV on 1,000 or more card stock)
MATTE / DULL COATING is available on all jobs printed on 14 or 16 Pt card stock. Matte coating creates a flat smooth look that reflects less light than glossy coatings. It removes the glare and is very effective over type. Use matte coating for a more subtle,quite effect.
SPOT UV COATING is a great option for giving your printed piece the WOW FACTOR! Spot UV highlights and draws attention to a selected area by creating a visual stimulus to draw the eye. It enhances the value and give the impression of importance and quality to the finished piece.
SILVER (PMS 877) (available 5/0, 5/1, 5/4, 5/5) can be used on all cards. It creates a very unique and exciting look to distinguish you from your competition. Silver can be used in type, background or a boarder. It's sure to get your card noticed.
SHORT RUNS are also great for larger companies that want to do test marketing or sample mailing. Shortrun is when you only need 100, 250 or 500 of your printed piece. These are not copy machine copies or color copies. Our short runs are quality offset printing and are as good as it gets. We print your short runs on the same large lithographic offset printing presses used for our higher quantity runs and we use the same heavy weight papers and coatings. Using our shortruns, you no longer have to settle for inferior quality of copies to get your message out. Our standard turnaround time for all our short run products is 2-4 business days. At this time, some paper stocks and finishes are not available on our Short Run Specials.
