100 LB Gloss Book |
|
| 100 Lb. Gloss Book is a standard quality paper stock finished with a gloss two-sided coating. This stock is thicker than the average magazine paper and the coating allows this paper to perform better on press for color and detail. 100 lb. Gloss Book is commonly used for flyers, brochures and the inside pages of catalogs. Although some printers use 80# gloss text, our standard 100 Lb. Gloss is 25% thicker and heavier, and has a more substantial feel, usually used for higher quality printing. 100lb gloss book is an excellent choice for restaurant menus, brochures, sell sheets, leaflets, and much more. Our 100 Lb GLOSS BOOK comes with FREE AQUEOUS coating and is available in a vast range of sizes and folds. |

HEAVY 14 Point Card C2S |
|
| 14 point card stock is a heavy durable card stock that has glossy coating on both sides. Although some in the print industry use 10 or 12 point for their card stock, (which may seem acceptable) 14 point is better. Our 14 point is our standard thickness for a business card and postcard stock. It is thicker and perfect for all card printing. Our HEAVY 14 POINT card stock is also commonly used for Rack Cards, Club cards, Greeting Cards, Rolladex Cards, Bookmarks, Door hangers and more. |
| |
EXTRA HEAVY 16 Point Card C2S |
|
| Our EXTRA HEAVY 16 POINT card stock is available as a FREE UPGRADE from 14 Pt, just for the asking. Most online printing companies do not offer this extra value service. Our 16 point cardstock is the thickest card stock on the market. Many printers offer 10 or 12 point card stocks - These are thin & flimsy in comparison. |

AQUEOUS COATING is more environmentally friendly than varnish or UV coating because it's water based. It is applied to the sheet by an additional coating tower on the press. It seals the ink which dries almost instantly and creates an additional gloss that protects the sheet. It has better "hold-out" than varnish because it doesn't seep into the paper. Aqueous coating doesn't crack or scuff easily. This coating does, however, cost more than varnish but we think it is worth giving you the highest quality product as our standard. (FREE Aqueous on 1,000 or more) |
|
|
| |
 |
OVERALL GLOSS UV COATING is standard on all our 14 and 16 point card stock. UV coating is a clear liquid spread over the paper like ink and then cured instantly with ultraviolet light. UV coating gives more protection and sheen than either aqueous coating or varnish. Since it is cured with light and not heat, no solvents enter the atmosphere so it is environmentally friendly. |

| |
 |
MATTE / DULL COATING is available on all jobs printed on 14 or 16 point card stock. Matte coating creates a flat smooth look that reflects less light than glossy coatings. It removes the glare and is very effective over type. Use matte coating for a more subtle, quite effect. |

| TRIFOLD BROCHURE SALES & MARKETING IDEAS |
With custom tri-fold brochures, you can emphasize certain areas of your brochures and also use to your full advantage the sequence in which your readers will open your custom printed brochure. With this folding design, you can arrange your panel headlines from most important to least in the same sequence your reader will be opening your tri-fold brochure.
A general rule in preparing your text is to keep it short and sweet. The reader should be able to grasp the main points by simply glancing through the piece. If you bury your messages in dense text, the reader may simply decide that it will be too much work to read your brochure and just throw it away. Use headings and subheadings to group ideas together and help the reader focus on items that are of interest. The front cover of your tri-fold should be visually appealing and provide enough content to invite the reader to open the piece and read more. Make sure to include your logo, company name, a great "tag line" that sums up your products or services. The inside front panel
is an important panel of your trifold. It is a great place to summarize why the customer should choose you. When you open the trifold brochure fully, you have three full panels to write a complete description of your company and what it does. The back cover should contain your contact information. This is the panel that people are least likely to read, so if you put an important message there, it may be lost. Eye catching photos and graphics help to keep
readers attention and interest. |

| FAQ and FILE REQUIREMENTS |
Be sure to read our FAQ and FILE REQUIREMENTS to avoid common production problems. Remember that you are responsible for supplying correct printing files. No one can print a great job using bad files. Use print industry standard software programs such as Photoshop, In Design, Illustrator, and Quark Express- if possible. We do our best to help whenever possible to correct files but we can't help you make last minute changes if you use an obscure or free online design program. Make sure all your files are 300 dpi and cymk.
The printing process uses CYMK (cyan, magenta, yellow and black) to make all the possible colors that can be printed. RGB files must be converted to cymk and this conversion can change color. It's best to start out using CYMK so you can actually see the color you are using. If you are not sure about what you are doing, give us a call. Our professional team may be able to set you on the correct course. We are here for you. |
