Terms and Conditions of Sale

Return and Cancellation Policy

Color Printing Pros does not accept any cancellations or issues any refunds once an order has been processed. An order is considered processed when the customer has approved proof(s) and okayed to proceed to printing. The accounting department will then charge customer's credit card before the order goes into production.


We do our best to make sure your order is printed to specifications and is of the excellent quality our customers come back for. However, printing is not a perfect science and in the rare occurrence that you receive a defective order, we will promptly investigate. If upon investigation, we determine that we made an error, we will reprint it. We reserve the right to request that 100% of the items be returned to us prior to reprinting.

Customer Provided Content
For certain product and service offerings you may elect to electronically upload or otherwise submit data, text, photographs, graphics, messages or other materials (collectively, "Customer Content") to Color Printing Pros for inclusion in print products. You understand and agree that you (and any other person from whom it may have originated) are solely responsible for all Customer Content. When you upload, or otherwise provide Customer Content to Color Printing Pros you warrant and confirm that you either own the copyright to or have permission to copy any documents, text, graphics, photographs, etc., that you submit for inclusion in the print process, and you agree to defend, indemnify and hold Color Printing Pros and its officers, directors, employees, shareholders agent and affiliates, harmless from any suit, demand, or claim arising out of any breach of this warranty and agree to pay any judgment or reasonable settlement offer resulting from any such suit, demand or claim, and to pay any attorney's fees incurred by Color Printing Pros in defending against such suit, demand or claim. Color Printing Pros does not maintain Customer Content indefinitely.


You agree that you will not send, upload, post or otherwise transmit to Color Printing Pros any Customer Content that contains material that: (i) is unlawful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, and/or obscene; (ii) which invades another person's privacy; (iii) which would further the commission or concealment of a crime; (iv) advocates or urges treason, insurrection, sedition or forcible resistance to any law of the United States; (v) is not lawfully yours to transmit; (vi) is the subject of, or which infringes upon, any patent, trademark, trade name, trade secret, copyright, right of publicity, moral right or other intellectual property right of another person or entity; (vii) contains software viruses, trojans, malware, or other harmful or malicious computer code, or that in any other way would way interfere with or disrupt the services and/or production of Color Printing Pros and/or or any servers or networks connected to or used in connection with the delivery of such service and production.


You acknowledge that Color Printing Pros does not pre-screen Customer Content, but that Color Printing Pros reserves the right to do so at any time and that Color Printing Pros shall have the right (but not the obligation) in their sole discretion to remove any Customer Content and/or to refuse to fulfill a print job or order that violates these Site Terms or that may otherwise be objectionable. You further acknowledge and agree that Color Printing Pros may preserve Customer Content and may also disclose Customer Content if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such preservation or disclosure is reasonably necessary to: (a) comply with legal process; (b) enforce these Site Terms; (c) respond to claims that the Customer Content violates the rights of third-parties; or (d) protect the rights, property, or personal safety of Color Printing Pros, its employees, users and the public in general.


Regardless of the upload of Customer Content to this Website, and/or the inclusion of Customer Content into any product or service offered through this Website, Color Printing Pros, retains all of its rights in and to all Site Content on this Website, whether created by, for or on behalf of Color Printing Pros.

Color Quality
Color Printing Pros guarantees that its prints will meet CMYK industry standards. We cannot guarantee "match-print" color fidelity and cannot prevent slight color shift throughout an order. Because we cannot control the color reproduction of a customer's computer monitor, we cannot guarantee that the actual print color will precisely match any preview as it appears your monitor. Color Printing Pros is not responsible for any color shift in converted photographs (RGB images) with black, near black, or gray tones. Color shifts from a perceived black or gray must be addressed prior to file submission. Proofs do not guarantee black, near black or gray final output. Please note that the application of UV coating may have an effect upon or change the appearance of printed colors. Color Printing Pros is not liable for the final color appearance of a UV coated product.

Color Matching
Color Printing Pros will reproduce submitted files, matching the colors as closely as possible; however, we do not guarantee color matching. If any print job is color critical, customer should request a match print proof. A contract proof will be provided at an additional fee. Customer must return signed hard copy proofs in order to proceed. Shipping of proofs (both to and from) are at customer's expense. Specific color matching may require custom job.

Upload Requirements
We strongly recommend that content uploaded to Color Printing Pros for print fulfillment is: At a minimum of 300 DPI at 1:1 ratio (or 100%). Content that does not meet this standard may experience print or images that are fuzzy, pixilated or otherwise distorted for which Color Printing Pros does not accept any responsibility. We reserve the right to reject content that does not meet this standard, but we do not assume any obligation to verify that the content meets this criterion. Files should be designed in CMYK and uploaded to Color Printing Pros in CMYK with no embedded color profile. (You may upload in RGB or some other standard if you choose, however, the color will be converted and Color Printing Pros is not responsible for any inaccuracy or color shift that occurs as a result of the conversion).


Turnaround Time
Turnaround times begin when the customer has accepted their proof. For next day orders, customers will have to approve proof and email okay to print before 9:30 am (Pacific Time) in order to receive next day service. No turnaround time quoted is contractual. Every effort is made to meet quoted time schedule. Incomplete order forms or artwork will delay the process.
Turnaround times do not include shipping time. Delivery times are subject to the contingencies of transportation, unavoidable accidents, strikes, delays, and conditions beyond our control. Exact date of delivery cannot be guaranteed, but are approximated as nearly as possible.

Artwork and File Retention
Color Printing Pros is NOT LIABLE for errors in a final product caused by any of the following reasons: Misspelling, Graphics, Bleeds, Grammar, Damage Fonts, Punctuation, Wrong cuts, Incorrect or Missing Folds, Die Lines, Crop Marks, Transparency, Overprint, Finished Product Size. All artwork or designs and images must be provided in CMYK format. Color Printing Pros is not responsible for any color shift that occurs in conversions from RGB to CMYK or PMS Pantone colors to CMYK color modes.


All artwork, designs and images must be provided in minimum of 300 DPI and CMYK color mode. Color Printing Pros is not responsible for images printed as fuzzy, distorted or pixilated due to customer provided artwork.


Color Printing Pros is not responsible for any color shift in converted photographs (RGB images) with black, near black, or gray tones. Color shifts from a perceived black or gray must be addressed prior to file submission. Proofs do not guarantee black, near black or gray final output. The customer is responsible for the accuracy of all artwork submitted to Color Printing Pros. The customer is responsible for proofing their layout, design and copy carefully before submitting. We do archive files for up to 1 year for reorders; however, we are not responsible for any files lost. Customers are advised to save a copy of all artwork.

Privacy Policy
Color Printing Pros does not share any information collected for order processing or from inquiries with any other company or website. All credit Card information is only used to bill the customer for products and services ordered. Samples of customer printed materials can be used for Color Printing Pros sales and marketing purposes.


All digital proofs provided are for positioning, layout, and content. They are not to match color. They are provided to the customer in low resolution. Proofs must be treated as independent from the original submitted file and thoroughly reviewed prior to approval. It should be checked against the original file for possible errors in layout, copy, spacing, punctuation or image placement. Customer is fully responsible for all that is contained in the final approved proof.

  Color Printing Pros is not liable for color matching or ink density on digital proofs approved by the customers. Digital proofs will predict design layout, text accuracy, image proportion and placement, but not color or density. Digital proofs do not show transparency and over print issues neither do they show color change from RGB to CMYK.


Orders will not be processed unless the proofs are accepted. Once approved, the customer accepts the responsibility that the files are set correctly and the order will then go through the printing process. In case we notice any problems with the files we will do our best to contact the customer and work together on receiving new files. We are not liable for delays in the order caused by customer's non-approval of the proof.


An online proof is by no means an accurate color reproduction of your final printed piece but is the final opportunity for you to check the layout, bleeds, crops and final text. Electronic proofs do not show transparency and over print issues. Neither do they show color change from RGB or Pantone to CMYK.


Color Printing Pros has and assumes no obligation to proof or otherwise review the content or layout of your order. You are not entitled nor should you assume that Color Printing Pros will review any other order you may have placed in past. Orders are printed in their "as submitted" form and the customer is fully responsible for final proof and layout verification and approval prior to submission to the print process. Color Printing Pros DOES NOT make any changes on customer files. Once you submit an order to the print process you are agreeing that you are fully satisfied with the document layout and content and you accept responsibility for any errors therein. Color Printing Pros will assume that you have verified the spelling, grammar, content and layout, etc. are all correct and it will not accept any liability for errors such as misspelling, grammar, damaged fonts, punctuation, transparency, overprint, improper layout, bleeding, erroneous cut or fold lines, die lines or crop marks, sizing, etc.


When a job is coated with UV then scored and/or folded, the job may crack on fold. During use, these cracks may become bigger and the ink may start to chip off. Cracking is normal when coated jobs are scored and/or folded. Color Printing Pros does not accept responsibility for cracking.

EDDM Products
EDDM (Retail or Business Mail Entry Unit) products are shipped "loose," i.e., they are not bundled to comply with any applicable United States Postal Service ("USPS") rules or regulations. We do not select or assist in selecting the postal routes for your EDDM mailing. Please note: we cannot take any responsibility for the layout of your EDDM mailing piece, including, without limitation, the sufficiency and placement of the address area. Bundling is available at additional costs.

Quotes are valid for 30 days from the day emailed to customer. All quotes are generated based on the specifications the customer submits. If any of the specifications changes or the order is being placed after the 30 days, a new quote is required.

Although we endeavor to ship the quantity ordered, Color Printing Pros reserves the right to ship within 5% over or under the requested quantity. If a minimum quantity is a necessity we recommend that you adjust the total quantity ordered to account for the possibility of an under run. Trade customs in the printing industry considers acceptable shortages and overages of 5%. Color Printing Pros does their best to minimize this percentage, but we encourage customers who will need a specific number of printed materials for mailing to order extra pieces. Overruns or underruns not to exceed five percent (5%) of the amount ordered shall constitute an acceptable delivery.

Acceptance of Job
Acceptance of one copy of a finished piece constitutes acceptance of all copies ordered. Acceptance of these terms and conditions of sale will apply not only to the first job and sales agreement but all future jobs and sales agreements unless Color Printing Pros is notified in writing prior to any future sales agreements or Color Printing Pros notifies customer in writing prior to acceptance of sales agreement. All claims must be made within five business days after receipt of goods.

Return Policy
We strive to provide our clients with the best possible printing experience. If you are not 100% satisfied with your order for any reason, please contact our customer service department. Defective product refunds and reprints are limited to $1000. Determination of defect is at the discretion of management. In most cases, clients will be requested to submit digital photos documenting the product defect and/or ship the defective products back to customer service. Free expedited reprint on any orders lost in transit is limited to orders less than or equal to $250. Turnaround and shipping for reprint orders will vary depending upon available production capacity and manager's discretion. Refunds issued for late turnaround will be limited to no more than $200 and calculated as 20% of print total (excluding tax, shipping, handing, and design services) for every business day (excluding weekends and holidays) that the order was late.


Direct mail services including printing, mailing services, list services and design services are not subject to standard return policies. Refunds or reprint on direct mail orders will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.


Should any litigation be commenced between purchaser and Color Printing Pros, concerning this or any future orders, purchaser agrees to pay reasonable attorney's fees and court costs, if it is determined that Color Printing Pros is or was not at fault.


Sales Tax Policy
Color Printing Pros charges sales tax to orders picked-up or shipped to an address within the state of California unless you are tax exempt. If you are tax exempt, you need to send or email to us your tax exemption certificate.

Customer (upon placing an order with Color Printing Pros) agrees to the following:
They are solely responsible for proofing and will not hold COLOR PRINTING PROS responsible for errors, inaccuracies, or omissions which occur. Customer also guarantees the legal propriety of all materials submitted and insures that no matter submitted violates any copyright or trade names.


The above conditions of sale are trade customs in the printing industry throughout the United States of America and are not subject to change except by authorization through Color Printing Pros.
